Re-register Now to Keep Earning Grid Rewards in Sweden ⚡

Last week, we announced the launch of the Emaldo® Grid Rewards Program in Sweden. With this rollout, we’re moving from static monthly payouts to a smarter, more dynamic setup: active grid balancing. That means your Grid Rewards will now be based on your system’s actual contribution to the energy grid.

Why You Need to Register Again

In that same email, we asked you to re-register in the Emaldo® app. However, we’ve realized that this may not have been clear enough — we've received a lot of questions about it.

To clarify: you need to re-register in the Emaldo® app in order for your system to participate in active grid balancing. Without this new registration, your system will not be included in the new rewards model.

We strongly recommend you register by April 9, 2025, to continue receiving Grid Rewards once the service goes live.

 


What’s Changing?

Starting soon, static monthly payouts will be replaced by Grid Rewards based on your actual contribution to the grid. This shift rewards users who help stabilize the energy network — and the more your system contributes, the more you can earn.

 


Quick Start Guide: How to Register

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to register your system in minutes:

  1. Open the Emaldo® app on your phone.

  2. Tap Grid Rewards.

  3. Tap the illustration at the top of the screen.

  4. Scroll down and tap Register.

  5. Choose Private Individual.

  6. Enter your name and email address, then tap Next.

  7. Enter your home address.

  8. Select your electricity provider from the list. (If not listed, choose “Provider not listed.”)

  9. Enter your bank account details and tap Next.

  10. Select the system you want to register and tap Next.

  11. Digitally sign the Power of Attorney and Terms & Conditions.

🙌 That’s it – your system is now registered

Didn’t find your electricity provider on the list?


No problem! If your current provider wasn’t listed and you chose “My provider is not listed” in the app, one of our customer service team members will get in touch with more details on how to activate your Emaldo® system for grid balancing.
