What’s changing and why?
From 1st July 2026, some electricity suppliers will no longer be fully supported by Emaldo. Customers using these suppliers may see reduced Grid Rewards earnings or stop earning altogether.
This change is due to the Balance Responsible Parties (BRPs) behind certain suppliers, which affect the grid services we can access on your behalf.

If your current supplier is affected, switching to one of our Premium suppliers is the best way to protect or maximise your Grid Rewards earnings.
Premium suppliers give Emaldo access to the full range of grid services, unlocking the highest earning potential for your battery.

We therefore recommend switching to Bixia AB, or one of the smaller suppliers partnering with them for market services, to access some of the most future focused energy opportunities available.

Reminder for those who have switched or are planning to switch to Bixia
For those of you who have chosen to switch your electricity supplier to Bixia, we would like to remind you that you need to sign both a consumption agreement and a production agreement at the same time.
To connect to Grid Rewards, both your electricity supply agreement and production agreement must be with the same electricity supplier. Bixia can help you arrange this directly through their customer service team.

What happens if I stay with my current supplier?
If your supplier loses support from 1st July 2026 and you remain with them, your Grid Rewards earnings may reduce or stop from that date. Any rewards already earned will still be paid as normal.
