Smart energy solution provider Emaldo has become the exclusive European partner of Pilot Technologies, a globally recognized manufacturer of commercial, industrial and utility-scale battery energy storage systems. The strategic partnership will see Emaldo distributing Pilot’s battery technologies in key European markets, quadrupling its portfolio of technologies available to commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility-scale customers.
Emaldo recently announced the launch of Emaldo One / Business, its end-to-end solution for commercial applications. The solution includes smart energy management software, the aggregation of energy assets into a virtual power plant (VPP) network for participation in flexible energy markets, and battery hardware, all delivered through Emaldo’s specialist local support services. Now included in this offering will be Pilot’s next-generation intelligent energy storage systems and advanced AI-powered algorithm solutions, specifically tailored for microgrid and VPP markets.
The partnership combines Pilot’s manufacturing and digital-led battery technology prowess with Emaldo’s on-the-ground local expertise, growing network of VPP partners, and commercial stronghold in the Nordic market, with more than 12,000 installations already complete across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. The agreement marks Pilot's first exclusive partnership in Europe.
Reflecting the companies' confidence in the market opportunity, Emaldo and Pilot expect the partnership to support the deployment of up to 800 MWh of energy storage capacity across Europe over the coming years.
