Emaldo enhances its Grid Rewards program for customers in Sweden by partnering with leading energy tech company Flower
Through full flexibility and ancillary market access, residential and business customers will be able to maximize the value generated by their assets
With €1 million in Grid Rewards already being paid out to Emaldo’s customers every month, the company anticipates that this will at least double over the next 18 months in line with business growth
ØLSTYKKE, Denmark - 8 JULY 2026 - Smart energy solution provider Emaldo is joining forces with Flower, a leading Nordic flexibility and energy trading company, to give its customers greater energy market access and unlock additional value from their energy assets.
Emaldo is a leading European provider of end-to-end battery energy systems for homes and businesses, comprising battery hardware, AI-powered smart energy management software and virtual power plant (VPP) aggregation to enable users to access flexible energy markets and generate income through services including Grid Rewards.
Flower leverages AI-driven optimization technology to coordinate and control a large network of energy resources, including residential and C&I battery assets, generating revenue for asset owners while supporting grid stability.
Through the partnership, Emaldo’s residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Sweden will now benefit from Flower's full market access, advanced optimization capabilities and expertise in ancillary and flexibility services, helping maximize the value generated by their battery assets and ultimately increase the return on their investment. This will be particularly important amid the Nordic energy market’s current volatility.
Emaldo generates revenue for its customers through the ancillary and energy trading markets, with payouts exceeding €1 million per month depending on market conditions.
