Emaldo partners with leading renewable electricity provider Bixia to expand participation in Sweden’s flexibility markets

• A new partnership with Bixia enables Emaldo to access a wider portfolio of ancillary services on the Swedish market

ØLSTYKKE, Denmark – 16 JULY 2026 – The Nordic smart energy solutions provider, Emaldo, is partnering with Swedish renewable electricity supplier and Balance Responsible Party (BRP) Bixia to expand access to ancillary service markets and help its Grid Rewards customers maximise earnings from their home battery systems.

As Sweden’s flexibility markets continue to evolve, the partnership enables Emaldo customers to maximise the value of their energy assets while helping support a more resilient electricity system that makes better use of renewable electricity.

By combining dynamic electricity pricing with Emaldo’s intelligent energy storage and Grid Rewards programme, the partnership with Bixia allows Emaldo’s customers to optimise electricity costs and earnings – all while powering their home with green energy.

Emaldo offers smart energy storage solutions that enable system owners to use, store and take greater control of their electricity. In addition, Emaldo makes it possible for customers to lend battery capacity to help balance the electricity grid and, in return, receive compensation in the form of Grid Rewards. Today, Emaldo customers earn more than EUR 1 million per month, depending on market conditions.

Bixia is one of Sweden’s largest purchasers of renewable and locally produced electricity and offers one of the most competitive electricity agreements in the market.
